Powerchair for José in Quito!

I met José last summer on the street in Quito, Ecuador while I was there on vacation. He's a wheelchair user with a manual chair, and I met his family, as he admired my powerchair. We have kept in touch over this past year. He has a lot of difficulty with his manual chair and would really like a powerchair. They're available in Quito for around $2500.00 so that's my goal to fundraise for him! 

I was only in Quito for one week in the "Old Town" neighborhood, and every day, I met so many wheelchair users.  Everyone had to stop and ask me about my silla automática!!!  The president of Ecuador is a manual chair user, and maybe he has improved things for disabled people in the country, but access to powerchairs is VERY rare. Let's help at least this one random stranger and his lovely family!! <3
