Power Within: The Mike Trauner Story - Documentary film

Mike’s first brush with death in Afghanistan came in 2008. Surviving three hits from rocket-propelled grenades, he engaged the enemy with unrelenting machine gun fire during the Battle of Lakokhel. A few months later, he was not so lucky. While on patrol with the Royal Canadian Regiment in the Pashmaul, Mike Trauner received devastating injuries from an improvised explosive device. Since that fateful day in Afghanistan, he faced a recovery wrought with pain and disappointment. With his wife Leah at his side, Mike harnessed the power within and overcame every obstacle, emerging from rehab to win two Gold Medals at the 2017 Invictus Games.
