A POWER LIFT RECLINER FOR ELLEN

Donativo protegido
Dearest family and friends of mine, Ellen's and Lynn's, thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Ellen is beyond thrilled with her new recliner.  Not only does it recline, lift her up, and massage, it is also heated.  The heat warms and soothes in all the right places.  No more moving a heating pad around and no more struggling to get up off the sofa.  I wish you could have seen the smile on her face.  Ellen and Lynn are extremely happy and grateful to all of you for your generosity and more importantly, your kindness.  I am beyond grateful for how quickly you answered my call for help.  I want Ellen to be as comfortable as possible and I know you do too.  I always say kindness can change the world.  Ellen was in the hospital for two days.  They added prednisone to her medications and that has been a huge help.  Hospice will now step in to help with medications and anything else Ellen needs.  Don't let that scare you, she is doing well, all things considered.  Hospice is helping to make sure she doesn't go through another excruciating ordeal like the one that just sent her to the hospital.  Thankfully, they will come running at a moment's notice if Ellen needs them.  She and Lynn are amazing young women.  Again, thank you so much to those who donated and those who are praying and sending positive thoughts.  A very special thank you to Gary French, Linda Maria, Kelly Morgan, Janice Lee, Stacy Kruger, Ken and Heather Springer, Lynette Diotte, Debra White, Karen Adam, Bonni Romanofski, Andrea Gizzi, James and Joel McNall, Barbara Lunger, Deena Brooks, Courtney Jean Kellum, and Beth and Mark Diebel.  I collected more than enough for the chair and will give them the extra money to use as needed.  I also want to thank all of their co-workers at Attentive Care of Albany Inc.  They have been absolutely amazing and extremely supportive, a true blessing to Ellen and Lynn.  Once again, for those of you who don't know, on May 12, 2016, Ellen was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Ellen finished her cancer treatment and life was good.  Ellen and Lynn were moving forward with their lives, feeling happy and optimistic.  We all thought Ellen had beaten cancer, but we were wrong.  We all know cancer is a vicious disease and almost two years to the day of her first cancer diagnosis, at the age of 39, Ellen was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bone cancer. The prognosis is not good and the doctor is talking about comfort care.  For those of you who don't know Ellen, she's a fighter and Lynn will be fighting right beside her.  All the people who love them will be right there offering support in every way possible.  Again, to all who have supported Ellen and Lynn during this extremely difficult time, THANK YOU.  You are appreciated more than you can possibly know.  To the moon and far beyond!
