Power for the Powells

Hi, my name is Jackie and I’m fundraising for my sister Di and her four kids Josh, Sam, Lucy and Brianna who along with their neighbours, experienced a traumatic house fire which eventually took their life-long belongings and home, which will soon be demolished.

Years of sentimental items such as photos, jewellery, clothing, passports, birth certificates, school reports and all the little things that will only be remembered in hindsight and maybe that won’t be for a long time but it will still hit hard.

Thankfully they, their pets and their neighbours are alive today (best wishes to Stuart who remains in hospital) thanks to the quick actions of the CFA, Fire Rescue Victoria, Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police, an amazing local nurse and her helpers and dozens of neighbours who offered big and little things to assist.

We want to raise funds to get this family back on track. Di has always been a person who would do anything for anyone and the apples don’t fall far from the tree!
