Hi, I’m Dom Robinson.

My family is in Jamaica, and after Hurricane Melissa, many parts of the island including Ocho Rios and nearby parishes are still without electricity. People can’t charge their phones, reach loved ones, or even keep food cold.

I’ve started this fundraiser to help bring portable generators to key fire and police stations across the North Coast — safe spaces where locals can come charge their phones, connect with family, and access light.

My brother, who’s on the ground in Jamaica, will personally deliver the generators to:

• Ocho Rios Police Station

• St Ann Bay Fire Station

• Discovery Bay Police Station

• Falmouth Fire Station & Police Station

• St James Police Station & Fire Station

These locations are already serving as relief hubs for the community, but they need power to keep doing that work.

Why this matters even more right now:

Since the hurricane hit, the price of generators in Jamaica has doubled from around $400 before the storm to over $800 now. That’s made it almost impossible for many families and small local stations to afford one.
