“Every Beat Counts: Help Us Bring a Defibrillator to Our Nursery”

At Maple Tree Nursery, the safety and wellbeing of our children, families, and staff are always our top priority. Every day, our team cares for the most precious little hearts — and while we hope we never have to face an emergency, we believe in being prepared for anything.

A defibrillator (AED) can mean the difference between life and death in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. Having one on site and ready to use could save a life — whether it’s a child, a parent, a staff member, or even a visitor.

Currently, our nearest defibrillator is 188 metres away at Acorns charity, which over a ten-minute walk from the nursery, and in a medical emergency, every second truly counts. That’s why we’re launching this fundraising appeal: to raise £1500 to purchase and install a defibrillator at our nursery.
