The POWER Fund
Tax deductible
POWER is a benefit concert created in support of Black AIDS Institute and their mission to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Black communities by engaging and mobilizing Black institutions and individuals in efforts to confront HIV.
Black communities are disproportionately affected by HIV. Only 13% of the US population is Black, yet in 2019, Black people accounted for 44% of new HIV diagnoses in the US. We cannot end HIV without ending it in Black communities, which is why we must fund Black-led organizations. HIV is a racial justice issue.
POWER begins streaming on the “Poz Power” YouTube Channel Thursday, July 1st @7pm. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoGETDrIajxrzjw5HtYzdYg
