Pours for Paws: Help Tulum’s Rescue Dogs & Cats

Pours for Paws is a grassroots fundraiser that brings Toronto's hospitality community together for the street dogs and cats of Tulum, Mexico. Behind the beaches and the cenotes, the streets are full of dogs and cats who are hungry, sick, injured and having litter after litter, with few to care for them and little resources.

Now, with tourism down by roughly 30%, that gap has grown even wider. The rescuers, fosters and vets on the ground are doing everything they can with less support than ever and they need our help!

The people doing the real work are a small community of local rescuers, fosters and vets. They feed, sterilize, vaccinate and treat these animals, mostly out of their own pockets. As tourism has slowed, help has become more urgent and rescues/rescuers are overwhelmed and under funded.
