Pounds for Pol - in memory of Anthony Pollard

On the morning of May 4th 2020, Anthony Pollard (Pol) tragically took his own life.

Pol suffered with mental health issues and had managed well for many years. The current lockdown situation resulted in a decline in Pol’s mental health. Sadly, it all became too much for him.

Pol has left behind his life partner, Sarah and his beautiful daughter, Chloe, aged 8. Sarah now has the heartbreaking task of bringing Chloe up on her own. 

I know that Pol had many friends who are devastated by his passing and Sarah and her family were finally able to put Pol to rest on Tuesday 2nd June. 

I am hoping to raise money to help Sarah and Chloe through this incredibly difficult time.

A portion of any donations raised will go to ‘Mind’ charity in Pols name.
