My name is Alex and I live in Minnis Bay on the North East Kent coast . I am a self employed dog groomer.

I was lucky enough to spend some time recently in Sri Lanka , and while I was there I found little Pee Wee alone on a beach . We think she is about 5 months old now , when I saw her she was so hungry she was eating sand . She was covered in hundreds of ticks, severely emaciated and would definitely have died without help.

The shelter at that time was full, they had 2500 dogs in so luckily a Tuk Tuk driver we had used offered to look after until she became healthier.

We are three weeks into this journey and Pee Wee has been moved to the dog shelter as she's not put on any weight and she has been diagnosed with tick fever . She has now been put on treatment and hopefully this works and we can bring Pee Wee back to the UK .

We are asking for help towards paying for her transport home and her vet bills, anything you could spare, even £1, would be much appreciated.
