POUNDCAKE is my first feature film, created in the wake of profound personal loss. After losing my son, I made a graveside promise to him that I would continue our filmmaking journey and fulfill the dreams we shared. This commitment became the driving force behind POUNDCAKE, a dark comedy that explores grief and redemption, blending my own trauma with absurd humor.
