My wonderful friend, Pam is known to many throughout the North West and further afield for her charity work and her wonderful, caring personality. However, if you know Pam well, you will also know that she is dedicated to the British Sign Language and is currently studying for a degree to help the deaf community, all whilst working as a Health Care Worker in Urology at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The reason for my page is that unfortunately Pam has been advised by her university that they are no longer able to provide funding to help her finish her degree, and they have told her she needs £6,000 to complete it. She simply doesn’t have this type of money.
Pam is devastated as she has dedicated so much time and effort into learning British Sign Language over the last 5 years. Some of her signing work include concerts for Kylie Minogue, Bryan Adams and Boysone, as well as trying raise funds for the deaf community through charity work such as signing Christmas carols in the Trafford Centre and Warrington. She also volunteers for Marathon Kids supporting young children.
Therefore, as one of her closest friends, I an asking if you could donate just a
“pound for Pam”.
I know everyone is struggling due to the cost of living, but if Pam has ever crossed your path then you will know just how lovely, kind and special she is so please, let us do something for Pam this Christmas as she is usually the one helping others
