PottersField IGNITE Program 2017

I'm extremely excited to share with you what the Lord is doing in my life and I am thankful for a door that God has put in my life right now. A couple years ago, Potter's Field Ministries (PFM) came to my church, and I was given a opportunity to hear about Potter's Field Ministries' IGNITE Mission Training School.  
I began to sense that the Lord was challenging me to step up to the call of dedicating the time of one year to be totally focused on Him so that I could take the time and focus and try and discern the will and purpose of God for my life. I've begun to start to realize the choices and decisions I am going to be making in the next couple of years will have a pretty huge impact on setting a purposeful course that will lock in some goals for my life. The Bible clearly says God has a plan for my life and I know that no matter what I can Trust God. I don’t want to make these upcoming choices and decisions without first intensely seeking God's wisdom so that I would make the right choices. Even though IGNITE is mostly focused on training, teaching and equipping people for the mission field, I know that God will be able to use this year and truly allow me to focus on him and seek his face. I hope to be able to grow a deeper foundation of living a life fully committed to God than just beyond the time spent serving internationally. I pray that God's preparation through the time I set apart for Him will prepare me not just for a missionary journey of a year but for a life on mission no matter where I am. 
The plan is to attend the course that begins July 8th 2017. I will be living on their campus in Antigua, Guatemala for three months of training before being sent to one of Potter's field kids programs. During the time I am on the field, I will be under the supervision of the local pastors with who PFM is working with in whichever location I am sent to. PFM currently has locations in Cambodia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Kenya, and Uganda. I will have a chance to minister and serve the kids and the local people who care for the little ones every day in one of the international sites for the next 6 months. 
 
 
Please pray for me as I step out on this journey God is leading me on. Specifically I need prayer for guidance, provision, and determination. I would very much ask, that you'd be willing to commit a regular time, to pray for me during the next year, at least one day a week. The reason why I ask this is I know that I'm not going to be able to do this on my own, and I'm going to face a lot of difficulties on this adventure and I know that God is in control of all things. Of these three things, you could personally pray about helping me cover the financial commitment. I need to raise $9000 to cover my tuition and travel expenses. I am super excited and stoked to be able to take part in this opportunity God has given me. Thank you so much for keeping this in your prayers. I really desire that God would use this step of faith to forever transform my life and the lives of those to whom I come in contact with.
