Hi, my name is Koray Nolan-Cibik. This GoFundMe is to fundraise money for my trip to Cape town, South Africa through Stoke-on-Trent College. As part of this fundraiser, I will be running 'The Potters 'arf Marathon' on September the 28th 2025. I have selected this fundraiser as I am a Sports Coaching and Development student at Stoke-on-Trent colleges Cauldon campus.

This trip to South Africa is a once in a lifetime opportunity to contribute to local communities, gain real-world skills, and grow both personally and professionally. During this opportunity, I’ll be involved in community support projects, cultural exchange and educational activities that will have a meaningful impact on people’s lives. To be a part of this, I need to raise £1300 to cover the expenses of the trip.

During this trip, I will be taking part in a range of activities such as visiting different communities, volunteering in multiple capacities and visiting schools with a range of ages to teach sport and other activities. The opportunities to teach and coach sport whilst on this trip is a fantastic opportunity as a Sports coaching student and will have a huge impact on my future in this industry. This project is a unique experience that very few others will share. It also allows me to learn a lot about South African history in a unique way.
