POTENTIAL LIFE SAVING TREATMENT FOR AMAZING MIRANDA

Hello,

My name is Deb Balderstone, and together with Maria Farmer, we have convinced Miranda to allow us to set up a Go Fund Me to help with her new treatment costs.

As most of you will know, 18 months ago, Miranda was diagnosed with stage IV triple-negative breast cancer and has been undergoing weekly chemotherapy ever since. Miranda has approached every stage of this process with the most incredibly positive and inspiring attitude. Unfortunately, the chemotherapy drugs are no longer working, and she has now been given the opportunity to go on potentially life saving immunotherapy.

This particular immunotherapy drug is not listed on the PBS [Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme] for breast cancer patients, which means Miranda will need to pay $2,095.10 to access this treatment every 3 weeks. We’re looking to raise $27,236.30 to see Miranda through a 13 x week treatment cycle before her next PET scan.

Miranda is a truly amazing friend and human, and her approach to her illness has been nothing short of mind-blowing.
