Potential life extending procedure for single mother.

Hello everyone, I am raising money for a procedure called, "Leading Edge", which is radiosurgery that uses Gamma Knife to cut the white matter pathways in my brain around where I had a tumor. My type of brain cancer is recurrent and aggressive. It can move and embed itself into healthy tissue and for that reason, it is uncommon to have a complete resection (removal).

I am extremely lucky that the doctors were able to remove my tumor, however, the recurrence rate is exceptionally high and survival rate is low. This procedure is the only option that is a preventative measure. The only other options are to wait for a recurrence and hope to get into a trial.

Due to the location of the doctor, I have to pay out-of-pocket for this procedure because my insurance company does not cover any out-of-network costs.

Unfortunately, I was unable to continue working after my diagnosis due to eye issues after surgery, plus radiation/chemotherapy, then rounds of chemotherapy. I just completed my 7th cycle and have 5 more to go.

Though I do have a referral out for an occupational therapist, to help with my eyes, and wish to go back to work as soon as possible, I simply cannot afford the $30k-35k cost of this procedure.

However, being the sole parent to my little, I cannot afford NOT to do this procedure.
