I’m Laurence, I'm a sim racing content creator and I run a sim racing community called the Potato Nation. We want to help out an aspiring race car driver, and she doesn’t have a clue about any of this.

Backstory:

A few months ago I saw a post by a local hopeful F1000 race car driver looking for sponsorship. She was advertising in loads of local facebook groups and I was seriously impressed by her professionalism and hunger for the sponsorship. I said to myself, with all this amazing equipment I have for review, wouldn't it be cool to help her with her training. I messaged her but got no response unfortunately.

Then 2 days ago I was walking through my local supermarket and spotted a little poster. Again it was her, looking for assistance. I said I'd try again and this time I got chatting to her. Turns out she has a basic sim and a PS4. She's running a Logitech G920 with a playseat rig. I immediately set about trying to source her a PC. So I bought a PC that wasn't booting, swapped out some components and BOOM, it's almost ready for her. She has no idea any of this is happening.

Then one of the guys suggested a gofundme to see if we can get her some fuel/tyres and ultimately get a Potato Nation sticker on her car. Well... that's gone a little bit CRAZY. again, she has NO IDEA about all of this. Her name is Kayleigh Cole and she has a BEAUTIFUL little car, it really is. She lives about 10 mins away from my house. I've never met her in my life, but it looks like I will be soon. She's gonna lose her mind!
