Post-Stroke Recovery – David Gentile

Donation protected
On Sunday, May 9th, 2021, David Gentile suffered a life-threatening Hemorrhagic Stroke. Despite the medical interventions that David has received to recover from this tragedy, his health has significantly declined. Currently, he is unable to walk, his cognitive abilities have decreased by 75%, and he is afflicted with daily physical pain.

Throughout David Gentile's life, his famous saying was, "The most important thing in life is to help others." And that statement exemplifies the life that he lived. In short, David served as a Licensed Psychologist in his private practice, Achievement Specialists, for over three decades and often expressed how grateful he was to give back to humanity. Additionally, he has provided workshops to help women overcome trauma from domestic abuse and has owned two non-profits: The Dignity Residential Treatment Program for Women in Recovery and In His Name Global Mission Support Corporation for children in Tanzania. In David's spare time, he volunteered for the American Red Cross and was a cantor at his local church, St. Catherine of Sweden.

Above all else, David dedicated his love and his life to his wife, Angela, as well as his daughter Alicia, and his son, David.

As David's daughter, Alicia Gentile, I am writing to ask for financial support for a portion of my father's annual medical bills to give him the continued care that he requires at Vincentian Home. Additionally, his beloved wife of over 45 years, Angela Gentile, is now in financial strife due to this tragic event.
