I’ll cut to the chase, i’m broke. My car has needed repairs for the last three months, i’ve been behind on rent for the last year, and i’ve got a backlog of debt and bills stacked to the ceiling. Sure many of us can relate here. These financial straits keep me from moving up in the world or having any sort of a savings or emergency fund.

I was recently the target of a harassment dox campaign on Twitter by a group of right-wing extremists for posting tweets they disagreed with. They posted my address, my phone number, called in the police and threatened my life and livelihood. Attached below are multiple screenshots of proof of their repeated harassment.

My livelihood largely depends on my gig work through Grubhub. These posts will cost me my apartment, my daily routine, and most importantly my life. I have no other recourse or second income currently, as the job market is in a terrible place right now and my current job hunt has been bleak. I’m not incredibly confident that i’ll find work in time if I were to be terminated on Grubhub Drivers.

This is the reason why I am launching a GoFundMe. I want to make it clear that I am currently NOT terminated (and I am hoping not to be) but in the case that I am, I don’t want to be left stranded with zero recourse or options. I’m already facing incredibly hard financial hardships as it currently stands, so this potential unexpected blow could cost me everything.

I will also need to beef up the security of my current address by installing security cameras and raise my homeowner’s insurance and also stay at home for the next few days as the harassment campaign boils down. I already live day-to-day so losing even one day of work AND purchasing security equipment that I wouldn’t need otherwise has devastating consequences for me. Just one week can set me back months and put me in a late rent/eviction loop for the rest of the year. This GoFundMe is a last resort to try to claw my way out of the situation I was already in and your critical support would mean the world to me
