Post death expenses

Please help the family of Shafeeqah and Kareemah raise emergency funds to pay off debts after their mothers death. We have been able to pay the bills in order to avoid interest Alhumdulillah but we still have some debts to pay. I have adjusted the amount to reflect how much more is needed now. Once we reach the $6008 we made it in Sha Allah! Any donation helps. Let’s help our friends as we know Allah helps us! We just became aware that the daughter receiving this money from donations is zakat eligible!!!

This picture was taken during her 4th week at the hospital. She was in the hospital for 6 weeks. She was getting things fixed one by one and was recovering from pneumonia. Her white blood cell count was returning to normal, there was no longer fluid in her lungs, and her oxygen saturation was getting to the high 90s again. Then the drs gave her Ativan. It caused her heart to slow down and her blood pressure to decrease over night until they both were too low. When they tried to give her a blood transfusion to increase her blood pressure she died. Her heart stopping before the transfusion could help. For 6 weeks they made several mistakes and caused her an immense amount of unnecessary suffering. She was admitted for chest pain, and they never 100% figured out what was causing it. They made her go a period of 5 days without water or food and even refused to give her iv fluids. They said this was to drain her of all fluid, supposedly to get rid of the pneumonia. Then, just before she died, she had to go another 2 days with no food and liquids. They caused Her kidneys to shut down and fail. They were always late for her pain meds like it was no big deal. Sometimes when she had breathing difficulties it took telling 7 different nurses or techs or drs before anything was done for her.  Because of insurance, as soon as she showed the slightests improvement they made her leave icu, even though she wasn’t ready. She was moved back and forth 8 times in 6 weeks which caused a lot of unnecessary stress for her. She suffered enormously in almost every system of the body and in almost every physical way. May Allah forgive her of all sins.  Most of her family expected her back home.  She looked worse after 6 weeks than when she went in! The family  was shocked on that last day. Now they just need to get the debts paid for their mom so she can rest peacefully in sha Allah and the daughters can focus on remembering their mom and trying to do sadaqah for her (IA).Please help anyway you can. Even if everyone who's able donates $5 the goal will be reached (IA) so if you are able please do so and if not send this info to people you know and please make dua that the goal gets reached and may Allah reward you for your donation AND for any donation made because of you sharing this info! You can donate anonymously if you feel shy about the amount you are able to give or if you only want Allah to know your sadaqah. Shafeeqah and Kareemah will ask Allah to reward you and I believe Allah rewards for helping, regardless of the amount and the family is grateful every time there’s a donation regardless of the amount! You may make a donation with your name or by typing anonymous where it asks for your name. I believe Allah will reward you all and especially those who donate anonymously because there’s no worldly reward or recognition for you so your reward is truly with Allah and he is the best equipped to reward you!
