I am Jim Bjork, the current president of the Postal Police Officers Association (PPOA). I organized this GoFundMe on behalf of, and to assist Christopher Vitolo, a Postal Police Officer assigned to the Cleveland Division of the United States Postal Inspection Service who was stricken with Coronavirus, was hospitalized, and was placed on a ventilator in critical condition on April 18th. Chris remains at University Hospital. On April 29th, Chris was finally taken off the ventilator but remains in ICU. We are raising funds to offset any medical/recuperation costs Chris may incur as he continues what may be a long recovery until he can resume police duties. Chris is an Army veteran and is a former president of the Postal Police Officers Association.
