Post Surgery- Fasciitis Recovery Fund

Donation protected
I'm a contracted personal trainer and I hardly ever get sick or anything.
But do to an infected leg and a couple surgeries & procedures, the Dr said I will not be able to work for a minimum of 6 months. I've been blessed to have my rent taken care of for 6 months. This funding is to hopefully help with other necessary recurring bills during my recovery process.
As for the infection it was Fasciitis, a flesh eating bacteria  that found it's way in through a raw patch of athlete's foot on my little toe. Not sure if I stepped on bad ground barefooted or what but it accelerated  pretty fast.  The first  sign of something wrong was during my workout a few days later.  I felt way more tired than usual and on the third set I knew something wasn't right but I contributed to my two or three weeks absence from working out.
The next day is when the pain started. I didn't notice the swelling until later that evening after taking my shoes off at home. My foot only swole so mutch because of the shoe, but my ankle had swollen over and past the top of my shoe. It was three days later before I was able to go to the hospital but trust my everyday up to that day hurt twice as bad than the last.

After numerous scans they took me upstairs to prepare me for surgery.  The first surgery they must have cut almost  an inch  or more in some places of infected tissue.
The second surgery he had to stop it from going up the side of my leg  and cut even more out.
They told me if we couldn't get the white blood cell count down they would have to amputate my leg. My cell count was 2200 and didn't seem to want to come down.  Two days later the doc I were very concerned because my cell count Lowered but not by much. So I figured if I started more activity and ate more healing foods off the lunch menu that would help my body get stronger so I did just that. The next blood count was 1400 but went up & down once more before hitting 1000. From there things started looking up.
I ended up staying at the hospital  from Nov 25th past Thanksgiving and my birthday and was released on the eavening of December 12th.
The intention wasn't for me to leave quite so soon but since it was safe my doctor okayed it.  I have another check up next week to see if I'll be ready for a skin graft. So in a week or two I'll be  wearing a patch of skin from another part of my body :-) Other than 6 month check up this is literally my 3rd time being in a hospital and my 1rst staying over.
