Critical Post-Op Care for Apryl

I am Apryl's foster mom and she is need of your help. Over the weekend I noticed that Apryl was not eating and just not herself. Her symptoms were lethargic and vomiting so took her to the vet on 4/4 to check. Within 3 hours later, she was in emergency surgery. The findings: Somehow she chewed a string from something and it caused a blockage and nearly severed about 8 inches of her small intestine. Who would think that a string would cause a life or death situation for Apryl or any other pet. This page is for help but also awareness. If I can spread the word that this is avoidable that makes me feel better.  I have paid for the surgery and diagnostic care total $3800, but she will require around the clock care while she recovers for the next 3 days. I am in need of your help and if you can spare $5 or $10 so she can receive post operative care, at Cobb Emergency Vet Clinic, I would be in your debt.  If no funds are possible would you please send prayers or well wishes by adding a comment. Verification of need: Apryl was admitted to Animal Emergency Center in Sandy Springs on 4/4. She is now at Cobb Emergency vet clinic as of 4/5. If you prefer to donate directly to either hospital under her name using Paypal on the hospital websites, we would be equally thankful.
