Hi,my Mom’s name is Cherie, after years of waiting on the transplant list, She finally got the life-saving liver she needed. This process has been painful, frightening, and such an emotional rollercoaster. I am so grateful to those that have supported her throughout this process, her friends, family, and team of doctors. She’s on the road to recovery but not without hiccups. Since being diagnosed with liver cancer, and multiple rounds of chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumor, She’s blessed to have been given the opportunity to have this transplant. The cost associated with this process, and the inability to work due to the pandemic while being immune-compromised has been a major burden and is in need of financial support to get her through to recovery.
