Post House Fire Recovery Fund

On Sunday, June 16th in the evening there was a propane tank explosion started at my neighbours at my duplex causing a giant fire at the back of my house that burned through to the roof. Thankfully every human escaped and me and my roommate saved our cats, but our house is no longer liveable and all items in our unit such as mattresses are totally damaged by smoke and water.

We are being put up in a hotel with our cats for a few days and have no idea what will happen next or if we can even continue to live in our home. We know at the very least we will need new mattresses, and may need to replace more items and have to deal with finding a new place to live.

This has been a traumatizing situation and I am so grateful for all of the community care received so far. Thank you!
