Positivity for Paul

Paul Arthur Dondlinger was born on June 23rd, 1954, in Milwaukee, WI. Born into a family of two brothers and one sister, Paul is the king of one-liners. His quick wit, kindness and big heart are what kept his family together. He is in his last stages of battling stage IV lung cancer. We pray for him to be pain-free and loved in his transition to the next stage of life.
Blake, a leader like his father, is in the midst of a successful career in management. Aubrey found huge success as an athlete, coach, and PE teacher and recently made the jump into a career in the beauty industry as a color specialist and stylist. Paula, his loving wife of over 40 years, was always a gracious host and second mother to all in the Palos community. Countless memories were made in the Dondlinger house with costume parties, cookouts, sleep-overs and Paul’s favorite, time by the pool. They made countless memories as a family and even took yearly trips with the entire extended family to Walt Disney World. The fairy tale became a tradition with years of stories shared at Disney’s Wilderness Campground. The only thing Paul loved more than his family and Disney was Chicago Sports! An avid sports fan, his competitive nature from his former championship high jump days really shined on Sundays.
Collectively we are asking for your generosity towards his family in order to carry on Paul’s spirit. The money raised will be used to help with cremation and hospital care and help Paula with the years of surgeries and treatments Paul had in the past 7 years. Paul had an accident at work 7 years ago where he fell off a ladder and shattered his wrist and heel. Through the recovery of those injuries he lost the ability to work as well as endured 20+ surgeries and even caught MRSA during his last surgery and was hospitalized weeks to rid his body of the infection. Over time my parents have gone severely into debt due to the cost from medical bills and lack of insurance.
Whether your life was directly impacted by Paul or have had your lives positively influenced by one of his loving family members---your generosity would help out his family and carry on Paul’s spirit. Please honor his legacy by contributing your support during this most difficult time.
