Based on my exemplary academic record and interest in the fields of health and medicine, I was nominated by my school, Glenelg Country School, to take part in an amazing opportunity called, NYLF (National Youth Leadership Forum) of Medicine.
This is a great oppurtunuty and means the world to me because the program will allow me to visit a prominent medical school and health care facility, as well as meet and speak with first year medical students to gain perspective on the culture of medical school. This opportunity will allow me to gain first-hand experience with medical procedures/professionals at the University of Maryland in Washington, DC.
I will need to pay for a meal per day, incidentals to purchase, and the program itself which will end up being around $4,000 altogether. I would really appreciate any donation going towards making this happen!
