Hey guys POSH BAR staff here’ ♥️ we hope everyone is holding up during this epidemic I don’t think anyone was prepared for this shutdown and many are left without adequate savings of any kind to help pay for rent, food and everyday expenses. There are no paid sick days or paid leave in the hospitality industry. If you don’t work you don’t get paid, tips are the lifeblood of the industry.
For those living paycheck to paycheck which is most in the industry the loss of one to two paychecks makes a horrid difference.
Bartending is a career. A life choice. There is blood sweat and tears. Late nights. Time spent away from families. Missing holidays. Research. Craftsmanship. Science. Math. Skills. Hospitality is a skill. They are there for you. To get to know you. To make you really great drinks & we couldn’t be more proud . We love what we do. To listen to you. To treat you with kindness and warmth. We get invested in your families and your life. We’re just asking you to take a minute to get invested in theirs.
We’re all currently going through not the best of times but together we will get through this’ and we will be back better than ever to literally “serve” the community! Thank you in advanced for any help that you may be able to give & also for your continued support over the many years of POSH BAR as this Wednesday March 25th would’ve been our 20 year anniversary.
