This is my puppy, Poseidon. He recently got parvo and has been undergoing intensive treatment that we can no longer afford. I have already received help from family and my partner. He needs a feeding tube and may need to be transferred to an emergency clinic. Poseidon was given to me for free after I had gotten out of an abusive relationship and he helped me overcome a lot of stress and anxiety. I really don’t think I could handle losing him and I’m genuinely at a loss. I want him to have the best fighting chance possible and with him not eating or drinking, I know the feeding tubes will be one of the biggest game changers. He has already been on IV for 3 days and is receiving antibiotics and medicine for nausea and diarrhea. They sent him home with me for the night hoping that he may eat or drink with me since he’s been depressed and not responding to their offers for food. The vet wanted a feeding tube as a last resort and I’m worried if he doesn’t get one, he won’t make it. He hasn’t eaten since Sunday. Please consider helping me.
