I’ve lost men I cared for dearly to both cancer and mental illness. Those losses stay with me every night and remind me that conversations, support, and research matter. Each year I fundraise to honor their memory and to push for real change so other families don’t have to experience the same pain.

Movember is changing the face of men’s health by funding prevention-focused work across mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Their approach partners with communities, researchers and governments to back what works so men live healthier, longer lives. Knowing that a man dies by suicide every minute worldwide and that one in eight men will face prostate cancer makes this work urgent and personal.
