Portland RN Medic Assaulted

My name is Tyler Cox. I'm an RN in Portland, OR. I provide volunteer medical support, most recently at community organized fire aid stations. On Aug 31st, a Portland Police Bureau officer assaulted me while I was providing medical support at a protest. The officer tackled me,  my head and neck struck the curb,  he then repeatedly punched me in the face and head while I was on the ground. I sustained a concussion and hematoma, among other injuries. I was initially denied medical care, and then I was charged with Felony Assaulting a Public Safety Officer. This fundraiser is to help pay for unexpected costs, medical costs, trauma therapy, and rehabilitation from these injuries.
