HURRICANE MELISSA - special assistance needed

Hi, I’m Caroline. I am a big dog lover.

We are based in London, but Jamaica is our second home. We have four dogs in Jamaica who have an amazing life full of care and love. It has made us realise how lucky they are compared to so many others on the island. Sadly, many dogs in Jamaica are treated terribly. They are neglected, hit by cars, physically abused and suffering terribly. After hurricane Melissa a lot of dogs got displaced and they even have less food than they already had.

In Portland, Jamaica, we met an amazing lady who dedicates all her love, hard work, and energy to caring for local dogs—feeding them, providing vaccines, deworming, organizing neutering and adoptions to caring homes. She does this tirelessly with very limited resources. She works together with a vet.

The dogs desperately need food, medicine, and proper care. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. 100% of the donations will go directly to this locally run organisation—straight to the dogs who need it most. We can make a real difference, little by little by saving one dog at a time.
