Portland Paddlers Table Tennis Training

My name is Christian Lillieroos, and I am the Head coach for the Table Tennis team Portland Paddlers. We compete in the West division of Major League Table tennis. We have 8 athletes on our team, from 6 countries besides USA. This is the first year of the league and it is not a full-time league. The league pays for the competition days, which is about one weekend per month for 7 months, but not for training. After the first half season we were in last place, and we learned that it was because we did not have enough funds to train together. Oregon Sports Authority helped us to fund our training before our home game in Portland OR, and we did much better than in the past. We did the same before our last MLTT weekend and we won all our matches. We have one more Major League Table Tennis weekend to play in Wichita, KS, and we need help financially to be able to train. It costs about $2,500 in hotels, meals, facility rental, and local transportation to train 3 days before the weekend.
