Portia Cat's Medical Bills

This gofundme is to help raise money to pay off the vet bills of my sweet, silly old lady cat, Portia.

She has been my friend and fluffy companion for almost twelve years.  She's a fluffy ragdoll cat that has a bit too much Siamese in her background.  Her favorite past times are following me around the house, yelling at me, and headbutting visitors until they pet the just right amount (not too much, but not too little!). 

A few weeks ago, she suddenly very ill.  Stopped eating, drinking, she would lay on the floor and just look at me. The emergency vets were kind and did everything they could think of to help.  I had to stand in the clinic and just burst into tears because I had to come up with a thousand dollars on the spot to just get her looked out.

She had foreign matter in her stomach, was swollen internally, and had some sort of bladder inflection that might have been related.  It took several weeks, lots of antibiotics, painkillers, and several vet trips. 

She is doing much better now, after almost two months. And her little belly hair is starting to grow back!  But I had to forgo a lot of other bills to help pay for her vet bill.  I hate asking for help, but if you can spare something to help coverage the over $3500 bill to cover her costs, it would be such a help.

She's my friend and I wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world.  It was worth every penny to wake up to her fluffy face for a few more years.
