Our sweet baby boy Porter “Poota” Shumpert was taken to the emergency room on April 9th by his mother, Danielle, after she noticed a few concerning symptoms. Danielle was given the worst news a parent could receive; her baby boy has cancer. Porter was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, also known as ALL. Although he is getting exceptional care at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, the road ahead of him will be a long and tough one for him and the entire family. 

Due to Porter’s need for round-the-clock care, chemotherapy, and follow-up appointments, Danielle will not be able to continue with her plans to begin a new career or even a new life in Dallas, TX. Costs are already beginning to pile up with medical bills, medication costs, and grocery items for his plant-based and herbs diet. We are asking for your loving support for Danielle and her family during this most trying time.  

Danielle was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and as of April 5th became a Dallas, TX resident. She had big plans for her and her two little boys. This unfortunate event will definitely change their lives in the long run. 

This fundraiser is so important to me because Danielle is not only my best friend but my baby sister. We love her, Porter, and Blaze dearly and want to help them in any way that we can.
