Porter Goldman Paralysis Surgery
My name is Porter Goldman and I am 20 years old. Three months ago I was in an auto accident that left me a paraplegic. I crashed into the back of another truck while delivering tile for my work, and when I crashed 3000 pounds of tile slammed forward crushing the truck with me inside it. Currently there is no hope of healing naturally but I am hopeful that modern technology can help. I am hoping to raise money for a surgery that will improve my current state, and bring back feeling and function to my legs. There is a 100% success rate in being able to move my legs again and then the rest would be up to me. I would be flying to Thailand where they would put a device called an epidural stimulator in my back that would help amplify the weakened signals that control my legs. The signals are still there but are just not strong enough because of the accident. I would receive the surgery in the first few days of the treatment and then spend a minimum of 35 days doing physical therapy to relearn how to walk again. The funds donated will cover the surgery, and the rehabilitation. Any donations and/or shares would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
