Hihi, my name is Liz Huggett and I work with Susan Hubbell at KVCC where we both work for the Culinary Program. On May 7 her home was struck and destroyed by the Portage Tornado. A tree crashed through the ceiling of her son's room, who fortunately was with his dad at the time. She's staying with her friend Jenn right now, and she does not know if she will be able to access her place as it has been "red tagged" by the city as being unsafe to enter. She's dealing with a lot of uncertainty at this time. All funds will go to her to begin to rebuild her home.

I will keep updating this as I have more information, as well as details of where physical donations of items she might need of right now if folks are interested in helping that way. I'll make a follow up post with that information soon, and where to do so.
