Portadown half marathon
In 2023 my Wife and I welcomed our Daughter into the world, and it was the push I needed to restart my fitness journey.
After a lot of hard work and dedication I achieved one of my own personal fitness goals and completed my first ever half marathon earlier this year.
On the 23rd of March I will be running the Portadown half marathon. This time I will not just be doing it for my own personal goals, but also in aid of the Southern Area Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
I have chosen to donate half of the money raised to Macmillan as many of my family have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Everyday people in the world are diagnosed with this horrible disease and we need to do everything we can to help the people and families affected by it.
I have chosen to donate the other half to the Southern Area Hospice as my Wife’s Grandmother received her end of life care of here. The care and support they provided for not only her Grandmother, but her whole family was more than anyone could wish for in their last stage of life.
I would really appreciate any support you can give, because on the harder days I know it will keep me pushing forward.
