portable outdoor Rig for Aerial Silks

My Story:
My name is Sebastian Gil-Jacome. I am an aerialist from Venezuela, I came to United States 3 years ago due to the sociopolitical turmoil that my country is experiencing now.
I started practicing aerial silks in 2014 and it quickly became my passion. So much so, that 6 months later I decided to open my own academy, “Aigle Acrobatics”. In less than a year, the studio had more than 50 students and after the first 7 months we were able to create a production that included all of our students. It was the first production in Venezuela focused in Aerial Silks. Sadly I had to move to Miami Fl due to the political reasons I mentioned previously. Since being here, I have been working in different studios meeting incredible people, students and instructors that I would go on to later call my friends.
What happened:
The idea of buying rigging point came to me when the owner of one of the studios I teach at informed me that the location where we practice can’t have us anymore. The owner and the staff of this studio have made great efforts to find an alternate solution but our options are extremely limited. The main problem with aerial arts and more specifically “aerial silks” is that a certain amount of vertical space is required in order for many of the poses and drops to be safely executed.
The project:
I would like to continue offering quality classes to the students who have come to rely on me not only as an instructor but as a mentor and friend as well. In order to do so, however, I will need to buy a three point structure where I can hang aerial silks and give classes. Unfortunately, due to my financial situation I am unable to afford it on my own. That’s why I would like to ask for your help in making this a possibility.
What I offer:
$15: A two hour long class
$25: Two 2-hour long classes
$50: Four 2-hour long classes
$100: A 2-hour long private lesson
$150: A 2-hour long private lesson plus two 2-hour long classes
$200: Two 2-hour long private classes plus two 2-hour long classes
$250+: A personalized choreography with private lessons until you are able to perform
If you or someone you know would be willing to offer even a small amount towards the structure, it would be greatly appreciated. And if you are unable to donate, sharing this page in order to spread awareness would be extremely helpful as well.
It is my dream to spread awareness and appreciation of the aerial arts to as many people as possible. I hope you will please be a part of that dream.
Thank you
*All classes will be held in Miami, FL and will be scheduled based on student & instructor availability once funding for the structure is complete*
