Hi, My name is Sky and I’m the 2nd oldest of 8 children . on January 19 2024 My mom woke that morning feeling sick & throwing up , later on that day while taking a nap she was having difficulties breathing. I walked in and noticed she was having trouble breathing and called the ambulance. She went to St.Marys ER and while waiting in the emergency she was screaming out for help and was being neglected and ignored! She got seen and was only tested for Covid and Influenza… No other Cares Were done while she was there or no proper medical attention was done ! She was sent home at 11pm with only ibuprofen and inhaler and Tylenol prescription … with no actual/proper diagnosis! When she got home she just wanted to lay down and get some rest about 20-30 minutes after being home we walked into her bedroom and found her unresponsive we immediately called the ambulance and started to do CPR the ambulance arrived about 5 minutes later and she was sent to st. Joseph Hospital they did CPR for about 30 minutes but unfortunately she flat lined and me and my older sister have to take in our siblings my mother left 8 kids including me and my sister and 2 grandchildren my siblings are 1, 2, 5, 8, 12, 16, 18, and 20 with two grandchildren thats 3 and 4 we still have to pay rent and other bills on top of her funeral expenses . If anybody can donate anything that will help. I hate to even be asking but it so short of a notice that we still have to come up with money for the funeral anything would help we appreciate it.
