Hi, my name is Tia, and this is Porridge — my 4-year-old Frenchie and the absolute love of my life.

Porridge is a goofy, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining little weirdo who’s brought light and laughter into my life every single day. But now, he needs help.

Recently, Porridge started experiencing sudden and severe pain in his neck and back. A victim of IVDD… It’s heartbreaking to see him struggling — and terrifying not knowing how to help. We’ve been told he may need scans and potentially surgery, but I simply can’t afford the veterinary costs right now. I wish there was an NHS for pets, because he desperately needs medical care to get better.

Porridge has been my rock through some of the darkest times in my life. He’s helped me keep going when I didn’t think I could — and now, I need to be there for him. I know he’s “just a dog” to some, but to me, he’s family.

I wouldn’t ask if I had any other option. If you can spare anything — even just a share — it would mean the world to me. Your kindness could literally help save his life.
