Hello everyone... I honestly don’t know how to begin. I was tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday the 30th of November while away from home in Austin, TX. I checked into a quarantine hotel since it was not safe to fly back home to Burbank, CA. I was taking my medication ST DAVIDS HOSPITAL prescribed me. That Thursday on the 3rd of December I awoke at a 70 oxygen level and couldn’t catch my breath. I had to call 911 on myself. Once I arrived at the hospital they told me I would be being admitted for my condition of “pneumonia”. I was put on oxygen and treated till the 8th. It was a terrible experience. I hope no one else has to go through. It literally felt like drowning.
Of course this couldn’t have happened at a more perfect time. COVID-19 2020 with no job and hospital bills stacking up... I know this is going to be a huge financial hurtle ahead. I’m not sure who out there can help but I also know not even GOD can help you if you don’t ask. I am in no way financially ready to tackle bills let alone, medically cleared to get a job any time soon. Unemployment literally ended today for my EDD account. I even had to push my CDL SCHOOL back a whole month just to ensure the safety of those around me. Anything anyone can spare will help tremendously... and in no doubt many people have already helped me, which was a life saver. I just don’t know what the future ahead has for my employment wise, let alone financially. I’m truly humbled from this whole situation. The last thing I have left in me is pride so I am humbly asking for your help to pay my rent and basic bills which I am willing to be completely transparent about if you have any questions of my authenticity. I felt nothing but shame being laid up in a hospital bed needing nurses and doctors to help me simply breath...
I could never truly repay them for what they did for me. Yet a start would be to ask for financial help to stay on my feet so one day when this is all over I can give everyone who helped me a thank you and a huge hug. I love you all so much... don’t take one breath for granted and protect your health. Please stay safe. Thank you.
