Nuestra Comunidad de Jurupa Valley a sufrido una gran pérdida.

Por la tarde del 28 Julio 2021 LA NORIA Market ubicada en 5704 Mission Blvd lamentablemente sufrió un terrible incendio, que llevó a pérdida total.

Nuestra comunidad al igual que sus empleados y familiares, se encuentran desolados y con el corazón completamente destrozado.En estos momentos de incertidumbre y pandemia, como si eso no fuese suficiente, 18 valiosas y trabajadoras familias enfrentan un nuevo obstáculo.

Sus proprietarios, La Familia Riestra a operado esta pequeña Marketa por los últimos 16 anos. Así atravesando una serie de obstáculos para mantener el negocio a flote. Aun y con la lamentable perdida de su padre, han logrado mantener sus puertas abiertas. Ofreciendo a la comunidad sus autenticas y únicas delicias mexicanas, con sus esencia y sabor familiar.

Extiendo Mi Voz a Nuestra Comunidad para que nos unamos en brindar una Sensación de Esperanza y una mano amiga para traer de nuevo este cachet de nuestra herencia mexicana de regreso a la comunidad.

Our Beloved community of Jurupa Valley has suffered a great loss.

On the day of July 28th, 2021 LA NORIA Market located at 5704 Mission Blvd has suffered a terrible fire, that led to a total loss. The community, The family and all its employees are Heartbroken and left in despair.

At these unprecedented times, as if Covid wasn't enough, 18 wonderful, hard working families now have to face yet, another tremendous obstacle.

Being one of Jurupa Valley Pioneer Mexican Market, this Mom and Pop Shop owned and operated by The Riestra Family have foreseen many struggles through out the years to maintain the business afloat and their doors opened, the worst and most painful, being the loss of their dad.

We as a community are going to miss their delicious food, wonderful specialty items, and the nostalgic sense of home, that only they can provide.

As a Community, I ask that we please band together and bring a sense of hope, so we can bring this little slice of Mexico back into the community.
