One of our neighbors on Hawthorne Place, Leo Porcelli, is fighting for his life. On top of that he is having to struggle financially due to his inability to work. 

Earlier this year, Leo had a heart attack, leading to the need for impantation of a pacemaker and defibrillator. Complications from this health issue led to the discovery of a malignant tumor on his lung. Leo is now undergoing chemo and radiation therapy. 

Leo's wife, Kathy, is by his side, struggling to support their household on her sole income. Last year Kathy battled breast cancer herself, so the mounting medical bills are not something new to their lives.


As Leo and Kathy's neighbor I want to help, but cannot do it alone. I am asking that we come together and help our neighbor. Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated!!
