Mi nombre es Yaritza me dicen Yari y estoy organizando esta recaudo en nombre de Nilda Iris de 56 años de edad del hermoso Barrio Carite del pueblo de Guayama P.R. Una esposa, madre, abuela y amiga increíble que está atravesando uno de los momentos más difíciles de su vida. Hace poco, Iris como le decimos de cariño fue diagnosticada con cáncer de colon con metástasis en el hígado. El diagnóstico llegó de forma repentina en septiembre 2024, y desde entonces ha comenzado un tratamiento agresivo que incluye quimioterapias, análisis constantes, entre otros tratamientos que podría salvarle la vida y pronto tiene que comenzar nuevo tratamiento que no cubre el plan médico y es costoso. Iris siempre ha sido una persona fuerte, trabajadora y positiva. Es el tipo de persona que ayuda a los demás sin esperar nada a cambio. Hoy, es ella quien necesita nuestra ayuda. Los costos médicos, los medicamentos, los estudios y los traslados a otros lugares más lejos están superando lo que su familia puede afrontar. Por eso recurrimos a ustedes: necesitamos su apoyo para que Iris pueda seguir luchando. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que parezca, es una gran ayuda. Hi, My name is Yaritza, my nickname is Yari, and I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Nilda Iris, 56 years old, from the beautiful Carite neighborhood in the town of Guayama, Puerto Rico an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she is going through one of the most difficult times of her life. Recently, Iris, as we affectionately call her, was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to her liver. The diagnosis came suddenly in September 2024, and since then, she has begun aggressive treatment that includes chemotherapy, constant testing, and other treatments that could save her life. She will soon have to begin a new treatment that is not covered by her health insurance and is expensive. Iris has always been a strong, hardworking, and positive person. She is the type of person who helps others without expecting anything in return. Today, she is the one who needs our help. Medical costs, medications, tests, and traveling to other hospitals are more distant locations are beyond what her family cannot afford. That's why we are turning to you: we need your support so Iris can continue fighting. Any contribution, no matter how small, is a huge help.
