We go again.
And you know why we go again.
And we'll go again until I physically can't or there is no longer a need.
So you know the score, right, I'll keep this brief.
Kids get cancer. The Pablove Foundation came to be after my mate Jeff's son Pablo lost his life to cancer at the age of six.
The Pablove Foundation does two things and both of 'em very well -
The first is dishing out seed grants to doctors and scientists who are pursuing cutting edge research into childhood cancers. Bottom line is this, one day, a doctor or scientist will make a breakthrough and that breakthrough will have taken money and that money has to have come from somewhere so why not this?
The second is providing a curriculum based arts programme centred around photography, giving kids an outlet through creativity to show us their world. Not only are the results stunning but the community this gives the children is actually priceless. I've heard first hand the difference this makes and I'm so so proud to be able to help raise money for it.
So there you have it. I'm using 500 miles on my bike as a token to get you to part with your hard earned. And I'm doing it during childhood cancer awareness month which is September. And I'm doing it unsupported. Just me and my bike and the road ahead.
Beyond the small fee this site takes, every cent you donate goes to the Pablove Foundation. Every. Cent.
So what you waiting for? Everything helps.
Do it for me, do it for you but most of all, do it for the kids.
