I'm planning on moving to Alberta (final destination undetermined), getting my EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) ticket and then find myself a job. It's an expensive course, and while I think I've got that part covered, I'm worried about the month or so it will take me to get that job and so forth.
My options are to live as close to the bone as I can (Check! doing that) and work my ass off (check!) and then borrow what I need to get there and live from my violent ex-boyfriend or to ask for a little help from my friends. Spread out over as many folk as we can, a few dollars here and there can really add up to some actual assistance. Ideally, I'd like to not be indebted to that jerk anymore, ya know?
So, while I do have this independent streak that balks at the very idea of asking for help, here I am, asking for help. Let me tell you, this is hard to do.
I haven't set levels or created a wish list -- my only two options on this site -- because I am believing more in "give what you can" rather than trying to tell you what to do.
So, please, help how you can, if you can. I'll knit you warm things, or bags, or we can find another way of saying thank you.
