POPs (Puttin' on Productions Corporation) is raising money for our annual Community Outreach Performance of Matilda, the Musical on Aug 2nd. The event will host undeserved children from around LA County to a day at the theater. The children will be transported to the theater, provided tickets and treats, and participate in a talk-back with the cast and production staff. As the cast consists of children ages 9-21, there is a special feeling for kids to see their peers on stage.
It is our hope to bring this magical day to 1000 youth and introduce the possibilities of what the arts can provide. The response from past attendees has been overwhelming! Some of the children said that it was the best day of their lives! Others asked how they too can sign up. All leave with smiles on their faces and ask when is the next one.

Puttin' on Productions Corporation: POPs is a 501c3 nonprofit youth theater company whose mission is to train and educate youth in all aspects of theater. We strive to cultivate an atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, passion, empathy, acceptance and self-confidence. Our goal is to inspire students to become exemplary artists, patrons, leaders and champions of the arts.
