Hello friends!

For his 62nd birthday, I was able surprise my pops with tickets to his second ever Broadway musical and favorite childhood movie come to life - The Wiz!

Growing up, this movie meant everything to him. Not only as a child upon its initial release, but even to present day. The amount of times he talked about what it meant to see an all black cast on screen.. I knew I had to find a way to get him to see it live.

I was fortunate enough to find tickets being resold on Facebook marketplace and a very kind person who was willing to sell two tickets for the price of one, making this dream come to reality for my pops!

After an overwhelmingly amount of folks shared there love for the wholesomeness of both the video and the memory made between daughter and father, a few folks had asked if there was a way to surprise my pops with tickets to another show, and so I thought I would create this for anyone who would like send any belated birthday love to do just that, maybe even be able to get him to see a show on Broadway in New York, where my pops is originally from before moving out to Portland at sixteen :')

Please don't feel any pressure to donate! Just wanted to share this for the folks who've asked for a way to chip in:)
