Pops (Mark Buckman Sr)
As most may know Khloe lost her Pops today.
Pops was a simple man. Fishing, a beer in hand, and his family and close friends made him a happy man. He didn’t need the flashy stuff, although his El Camino is pretty nice, he needed good company, a good laugh and he was set. He was a family man for sure. The love he had for his family and friends was undeniable. And the love for his grandkids was magical.
If I’ve learned anything in this month in a half about the Buckmans, they are fighters. Going through the multiple hospital stays, to them saying Pops won’t make it one more hour and him pushing through, to Christmas in a rehabilitation center, to New Years at St Joesphs, the family dinner when he got home and the heartbreak of his last ride to the hospital and saying their last goodbye. The Buckmans have stayed strong for each other.
I had the honor of being with these amazing people each step of the way. Watching them grow together to help their dad fight his biggest fight. Now I’m asking for your help to take a little stress off them.
